I’m a brand photographer in Ottawa, and I photograph businesses in their real environments while they’re doing the work they’re known for.
The goal is simple: photos that reflect how your business shows up day-to-day, so they translate naturally into your content.
I’m about to get to know you really well.
It’s only fair you know a little about me, too:
Catch me in bed by 10pm (anyone else raising wild children?) and trying to resist my natural urge to go against the norm at all times.
I love Ottawa, but part of my heart will always be in the Canadian prairies where I grew up! The only thing that rivals a prairie sunset is Ontario’s fall colours.
I was always destined for entrepreneurship – from selling homemade craft kits at markets when I was 8 to a million other business ideas over the years it was always meant for me.
I’ll take a good one on one conversation over a big group any day. Which is probably why people tell me they feel so at ease during their photo shoots with me!
Over the last 15 years, I’ve worked through a lot of versions of the brand shoot.
From documenting businesses as they are, to fully styled, curated sessions and everything in between.
Take it from me: the photos people keep using aren’t the beautiful headshot they initially loved. They’re the ones showing the perfect messy in between moments that reflect how their business operates.
So that’s what I focus on now.
